No matter what phase of life you find yourself in, FBC Elgin has a place for you to love, learn and live like Jesus.  Our philosophy of adult ministries is based on the biblical model of relational discipleship that Jesus employed during His earthly ministry. We gather for bible studies and discipleship courses and break out into groups to further discuss the studies for practical application. 

Adult Equipping Courses

FBCE Adult Equipping ministry offers 4-8 week courses to help equip people to love, learn and live like Jesus. Previous offerings included Next Step Discipleship, How To Study the Bible and Redeemed Finances. We are currently working on our Fall offering and will have information and registration open soon. 

Life Groups

Small groups that meet in homes for fellowship, sermon-based discussions/bible studies and doing life together.

Re|engage Marriage Discipleship

Whether you want to reconnect, reignite, or resurrect your marriage, Re|engage is a 14 week marriage discipleship minstry that blends Gospel principles with practical application for radical transformation. Registration required - limited childcare. Wednesdays @ 6:30pm, Worship Center.

Adult Sunday School*

Sunday school for emptynesters, seniors and couples without kids.  Bible study and small group discussions. Sundays in the Back Porch @ 8:30am. 

Men's Sunday School*

Sunday school for men of all ages. Bible study and small group discussions. Sundays in Room 134 @ 8:30am. 

Women's Sunday School*

Sunday school for women of all ages. Bible study and small group discussions. Sundays in Room 135 @ 8:30am. 

MOPS/MOMSNext (becoming The Mom Co)

This is motherhood. As a mom community, we raise our kids and one another. We boldy elevate motherhood. We embrace the unexpected and imperfect.  We understand our direction is more important than our speed.  We celebrate often. We follow Jesus and invite others to journey with us.  We have space for every mom. Our group meets every 1st & 3rd Wednesday during the school year.  Childcare is provided on 1st Wednesdays for ages 0-5 while 3rd Wednesdays are playdates.  To learn more, go to https://www.mops.org/groups/fbcelgin.

GriefShare*

A GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief that comes from losing a loved one. Through this 13-week group, you'll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what's "normal" in grief. You'll lean helpful ways of coping with grief and gain solid support each step along the way.

XYZ Senior Adult Club*

If you are 55+, you are encouraged to join our Senior Adult Club for lunch, fellowship, and fun.  This active group usually meets the 2nd Monday of each month.  Guests are always welcome.  For more information, contact the church office.

Women in God's Service (W.I.N.G.S.)*

Are you crafty?  Do you have a heart for missions?  This group of ladies typically meets once a month and works on projects that we send all over the world.  Continue to check back for meeting times and locations.
