OUR VISION:

Loving, Learning, & Living Like Jesus.

OUR MISSION:

To equip families to be transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ by: Loving through worship. Learning through discipleship. Living through service.

OUR MOTTO:

Worship. Learn. Serve.

According to Ephesians 4:11-13 the role of the church is to build up believers in their faith and to equip them to serve so they may reach maturity in Christ.  In other words, the job of every church is to grow people spiritually and unleash them to serve the world and be the hands and feet of Jesus.

our values

Values - We stand on the following statements:

The Bible as True
The Word of God, fully inspired and without error in the original manuscripts, was written under the iinspiration of the Holy Spirit, was faithfully passed down through generations under the superintendence of God, and has supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct

God as Trinity
There is one living and true God, revealing Himself as Father, Son, and Spirit, who are co-equal and co-eternal and author distinct but harmonious effects in creation, providence, and redemption.

God the Father
Our Father is an infinite, personal spirit - perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love - who works all things according to His will and therefore knows all that shall come to pass. He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men, He hears and answers prayer, and He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ
Jesus in God's unique Son, fully God and fully human, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, and taught us how to live.  We affirm as true His atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for His people, and personal and visible return to earth at the appointed time.

Holy Spirit
Coming forth from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify, and empower all who trust Jesus Christ, indwelling them as helper, teacher, and guide, and granting and empowering all types of Biblical gifts for extending the Kingdom of God.

Mankind
We are created by God in His image and made to be with Him.  There was a time that mankind was innocent and free to choose.  Mankind chose sin and therefore fell from innocence and was cast from the presence of God.  From that time we have been inclined toward sin and, as such, stand under the just judgment of God.  But man is precious to God; and by His grace and through the shed blood of His son Jesus Christ, God provided a way for sinful men to be redeemed.

Salvation/Grace
We are saved by the grace of God, from the wrath of God, through faith in Jesus Christ.  We cannot save ourselves, but must receive the gift of God and the sacrifice of Christ on our behalf.

Baptism
We believe baptism must be post-conversion (for people who have consciously put their faith in Christ Jesus); should be by immersion; precedes church membership; and is a symbol of obedience.

Transformation
The expectation that every believer should live for the glory of God and the good of humanity by developing blameless character and conduct, practicing faithful stewardship of possessions, and seeking transformation for others.

Family

God has ordained the family as the foundational institution of human society.  It is composed of persons related to one another by marriage, blood, or adoption.  Marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman in covenant commitment for a lifetime.  It is God's unique gift to reveal the union between Christ and His church and to provide for the man and the woman in marriage the framework for intimate companionship, the channel of sexual expression according to biblical standards, and the means for procreation of the human race.
