youth ministry

Our Youth ministry is designed to be an environment for your students to grow in their relationship with God and with others through weekly gatherings, friendship, and events throughout the year.  We believe parents are the primary spiritual examples for students and our aim is to help parents do that by providing them with weekly updates on what we're teaching and doing.

Wednesday Nights:

#THRIVE: Due to COVID-19, we have been meeting outside of the youth building on the campus of FBCE. Here, students can have some snacks, play games, and spend some time in the Word. #THRIVE will resume February 3rd for the Spring 2021 semester!

Matthew 18:20 tells us that where two or more are gathered in the name of Jesus, he's there with them. D-Groups are precisely that: groups of two or three (can even be 5!) students doing life with one another. This means praying for each other, getting into the Word, and confessing sin to one another! Guys will be in groups with only guys, and girls will be in groups with only girls, for sake of appropriateness and the best form of discipleship and accountability.

Want to join a D-Group but don't know anyone your age? Email, and we'll get you plugged into a group!

June 21st-June 25th, we are going to Highland Lakes Camp in Spicewood, TX!

To secure a spot, a deposit of $75 per person needs to be made. If paying by check, checks can be made out to First Baptist Church Elgin.

More info coming soon.
