FBCE is a gathering of people focused on seeing families in Elgin, TX transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ by: LOVING through worship, LEARNING through discipleship, and LIVING through service.
We believe that God loves us enough to meet us where we are, but He loves us too much to leave us there! If you're looking to see change in your life, marriage, or family, we hope you'll join us!

Sundays at FBCE
Church can be an intimidating place to visit — especially if you don’t know what to expect.
We are a "come as you are" church. Most of our people dress casual, but you're free to dress up if you like.
We sing praise songs that were written last month and hymns that were written years ago. We teach the Bible in a way that is accessible to all and we focus on how to apply it to your life. Every message is accompanied with questions that you and your family can discuss throughout the week.
At FBCE, we have places for you and your whole family to connect. We hope that through visiting with us, you will experience the hope, love, and joy that comes from a community of people who love Jesus.
Sunday Morning Worship Services
At FBCE worship is central to everything we do.
Through worship, God changes our heart towards Him, towards ourselves, and toward others.
When we walk through the doors we begin worshipping through fellowship. As we enter the sanctuary we shift to worshipping through song, the sacraments, sacrifice (worship through giving), and the studying of Scripture.
Of course, we also worship God through serving others and sharing the Gospel!

We believe that practical, relevant teaching is the catalyst for transformation in an individual's life.
At FBCE, we understand that scripture is inspired by God, completely accurate, and is our authority regarding Christian beliefs and Christian living.
Each Sunday the Word of God is taught in a practical, expositional manner that is easy to understand and apply to life.
