    Our groups and studies are designed to help people grow in their relationship with Christ while building meaningful community with others. From Life Groups and discipleship groups to men’s studies, women’s studies, and Bible studies, there are opportunities for every stage of life to connect, be encouraged, and grow deeper in God’s Word. Whether you meet in homes, at the church, or around a restaurant table, these gatherings are centered on biblical teaching, prayer, fellowship, and authentic relationships.

    At First Baptist, we want every Christ follower to be engaged in disciple-making!     Sunday school for empty-nesters, seniors and couples without kids. Bible study and small group discussions. Sundays in the Back Porch @ 8:30am.  * No childcare provided during this study

    Men's Ministry

    At First Baptist Church Elgin, our Men’s Ministry is committed to building Godly men who serve their families, communities, and workplaces with integrity and strength. We offer large group Bible studies, small groups, and events/service projects designed to help men in Elgin, Bastrop, Manor, and the surrounding areas grow in their faith and support one another in their journey toward Biblical manhood.

  • Special Events for Women and Men: Join our Women’s Ministry for game nights, crafts, and Titus 2 Bible Studies, or participate in Men’s Fellowship for deep discussions on Christian leadership. From MOMCo Playdates to GriefShare, we have programs that support every stage of adulthood.

    Women's Ministry

    FBCE Women’s Ministry hosts several Bible studies, as well as regular dinners and fellowship events for women! All ladies are invited to come, to bring a friend or two, and enjoy a fantastic time of spiritual growth and friendship building! 

  • re/engage marriage discipleship

    Whether you want to reconnect, reignite, or resurrect your marriage, re|engage is a 14 week marriage discipleship ministry that blends gospel principles with practical application for radical transformation. Registration required - limited childcare. Wednesdays during the FALL SEMESTER @ 6:30pm, Worship Center. 

  • The MOM co

    This is motherhood. As a mom community, we raise our kids and one another. We boldy elevate motherhood. We embrace the unexpected and imperfect. We understand our direction is more important than our speed. We celebrate often. We follow Jesus and invite others to journey with us. We have space for every mom. 

    Our group meets every 1st & 3rd Wednesday during the school year. Childcare is provided on 1st Wednesdays for ages 0-5 while 3rd Wednesdays are playdates.

  • XYZ Senior Adult Club

    If you are 55+, you are encouraged to join our Senior Adult Club for lunch, fellowship, and fun. This active group usually meets the 2nd Monday of each month. Guests are always welcome.  * No childcare provided

  • REDEEMED FINANCE

    This 8-week course on finances, called Redeemed Finance. Over the course of 8-weeks you will learn what the Bible says about money, giving, savings and debt along with practical training in all those areas to help you and your family redeem your finances. 


    The lessons include: God is our Financial Source, Giving, Introduction to Budgeting, Debt Basics, Debt Strategy, Savings, Creating and Maintaining Your Budget, and Habits, Identity, and Building Momentum. Wednesdays during the SPRING SEMESTER @ 6:30pm.

  • Women in God's Service (W.I.N.G.S.)

    Are you crafty? Do you have a heart for missions? This group of ladies typically meets once a month and works on projects that we send all over the world. Continue to check back for meeting times and locations. * No childcare provided
