We’ve had an exciting first semester at First Baptist Church Elgin with our 7th-12th grade students. We are honored to have your student involved with the student ministry. Our last one for this semester is Wednesday, Nov 15. We will start back again, Wednesday, Jan 17 and hope to see your student there!
youth camp
This year we are going to Latham Springs from June 6-10, 2023. The cost is $350. We will do fundraisers to help reduce the cost. The deposit is $50. We expect for the sports to fill up, so sign your student up today if they are interested.

First Semester at FBC ELGIN
5th Quarter
We had two free events after the EHS Football Game at the church. This included free food and activities such as volleyball games, inflatables, cornhole tournaments and more. We saw around 200 students at our 5th Quarters.
thrive
This is our Wednesday Night gathering for students from 6:30-8:15pm (doors open at 4:30pm, and supper is at 5:30pm). We play volleyball & 9 Square outside, as well as ping pong and cornhole. We gather for some silly games and hear a message from Coach Rowe and Coach Anderson.
sunday school
After the 9:45am church service we meet from 11:15-12:15pm in the “Back Porch” room in the back of the church. Students get to hangout and play then we sit at tables to discuss the bible with adult leaders leading the discussion. This has been a great opportunity for our students to get to ask questions and learn more about God’s word.
