Embracing the Call to Share

At FBCE, we wholeheartedly embrace our calling to share the life-changing message of Jesus Christ with others, echoing the timeless mandate of the Great Commission. Following the example of Jesus, who came to share the good news of the Kingdom of God, we recognize that this mission is not just a choice but a necessity. As the apostle Paul articulates in 2 Corinthians 5, we are entrusted with the ministry of reconciliation, called to bridge the gap between humanity and God through the proclaiming of the Good News, that in Jesus, God is reconciling the world to Himself, not counting men's sins against them.

Practical Steps to Sharing Jesus

Understanding the significance of this responsibility, we affirm that God has not only saved us but also equipped us, empowered us, and chosen us to be messengers of His love and grace. Each of us is uniquely positioned to fulfill this divine mandate, with God orchestrating encounters and relationships for the purpose of sharing His redemptive message. In response to this call, we seek to simplify the process into three actionable steps:

1. Inviting others to join us in worship so they can personally experience the presence of God
2. Sharing "God Stories" - personal testimonies of God's faithfulness, power, and how He's moving in our lives
3. Sharing the gospel with others, communicating the transformative message of salvation with clarity and conviction.

Through consistent reflection and evaluation, we encourage our members to actively engage in these practices weekly, recognizing that every encounter presents an opportunity to advance the Kingdom of God.
