Life Groups are small groups of people who gather in homes to encourage one another, develop a Christ-centered focus in their lives, and build lasting friendships. When you attend a Life Group, you can expect a sermon-based discussion or short bible study, followed by a time for prayer and awesome fellowship (and of course great food)! Whether you’re a young family, empty-nesters, a single parent or a senior adult- this is where you will find connection, friendships and faith-building discussions!

At First Baptist, we want every Christ follower to be engaged in disciple-making! Christianity was intended to be a movement of multiplying disciples, and it is the commission of each Christ follower!

Men's Ministry
At First Baptist Church Elgin, our Men’s Ministry is committed to building Godly men who serve their families, communities, and workplaces with integrity and strength. We offer large group Bible studies, small groups, and events/service projects designed to help men in Elgin, Bastrop, Manor, and the surrounding areas grow in their faith and support one another in their journey toward Biblical manhood.

REDEEMED FINANCE
This 8-week course on finances, called Redeemed Finance, starts Wednesday, January 22, 2025! Over the course of 8-weeks you will learn what the Bible says about money, giving, savings and debt along with practical training in all those areas to help you and your family redeem your finances.
The lessons include: God is our Financial Source, Giving, Introduction to Budgeting, Debt Basics, Debt Strategy, Savings, Creating and Maintaining Your Budget, and Habits, Identity, and Building Momentum.

INTENTIONAL PARENTING
Intentional parenting provides practical, Christ-centered, advice on how to raise children to become healthy, well-adjusted young adults. Intentional parenting means you've got more than good intentions; you've got a plan.
Lessons include: Strong belief, 24/7 role model, encouraging words, genuine affection, consistent presence, peaceful home, delicate discipline, active responsibility, positive memories, serious fun.
This course begins in March of 2025...and is for individuals, couples, and even expectant parents!

Whether you want to reconnect, reignite, or resurrect your marriage, re|engage is a 14 week marriage discipleship ministry that blends gospel principles with practical application for radical transformation. Registration required - limited childcare. Wednesdays @ 6:30pm, Worship Center.

The MOM co
This is motherhood. As a mom community, we raise our kids and one another. We boldy elevate motherhood. We embrace the unexpected and imperfect. We understand our direction is more important than our speed. We celebrate often. We follow Jesus and invite others to journey with us. We have space for every mom.
Our group meets every 1st & 3rd Wednesday during the school year. Childcare is provided on 1st Wednesdays for ages 0-5 while 3rd Wednesdays are playdates.

If you are 55+, you are encouraged to join our Senior Adult Club for lunch, fellowship, and fun. This active group usually meets the 2nd Monday of each month. Guests are always welcome. * No childcare provided

A GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief that comes from losing a loved one. Through this 13-week group, you'll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what's "normal" in grief.
